Biography

Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Jena has always had a striking passion for music which led her to start writing from a very young age. Being Inspired by Amy Winehouse, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Fiona Apple and many more resulted in a heavy influence of Disco, Jazz and Soul House in her music. In addition to being involved in some writing camps at the Defected HQ, powerhouse vocalist Jena has been busy in the studio writing up some magic with a range of different producers and writers, which has led to exciting releases with the likes of Ferreck Dawn and Darius Syrossian, with so much more to come.
