Biography
Snips is the founder of Barbershop Records and co-founder of Livin' Proof, a veteran of the UK Hip-Hop scene with over 15 years’ experience as one of London’s most prolific club DJs. Now residing permanently in NYC, Snips is equally comfortable playing alongside Stretch Armstrong, DJ Spinna and Moma as he was with UK staples Tim Westwood, Benji B and Shortee Blitz.
With 10 years’ worth of transatlantic production credits across Hip Hop's underground, 2018 saw Snips collaborate with British rapper Giggs as well as emerge as a budding solo artist, releasing a slew of projects on his own label “Barbershop Records” fusing the production styles of Hip Hop, House, Soul, Jazz and Funk in the same fashion he's known for as a DJ.
Snips has just released a house single “The Product”, which was remixed by Dirty Channels and released on Classic Music Company.
