Dunmore Brothers
Biography
From childhood summers spent in Ibiza, to hearing music blare from their dad’s record room, the Dunmore Brothers have grown up with musical influences from all angles. The duo compromised of brothers Lucas and Louie, have already turned heads with DJ sets that demonstrate their gift as selectors, while striving to produce records with a range of style and flare attached to them.
Their debut release ‘Step Closer’ featuring Ayaba Poetic landed on Riva Starr’s Snatch Records, which quickly demonstrated the deep, techy, energetic direction the boys wish to pursue. Since then, they followed up with their second release ‘Obsessed’, coming on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records. This has led to the boys increasing momentum, playing the likes of Printworks & Warehouse Project as well as festivals in London, Croatia and Malta.
Inspired by diversity, individualism and creativity, the pair have concentrated their musical values and are ready to challenge the ‘mainstream boundaries’. With music embedded in their blood, the pair have developed their own personal strengths which are able to complement one another. With Lucas Dunmore spending time learning the intricate details of the production process, Louie is leading A&R on a new Afro House imprint Sondela Recordings alongside Sef Kombo, the pair show signs of becoming unstoppable.
