Biography
Dave Giles II is a Chicago-bred, LA-based, Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, and songwriter. His penchant for vocal dance music has amassed platinum and gold certifications, radio and chart placements in over 30 countries, and syncs in feature films. Notably, he is a co-writer and producer of Beyonce’s inclusivity anthem, Cozy and his “this a reminder…” vocal can be heard prominently on the Renaissance World Tour and as a trending ‘sound’ in millions of TikTok videos.
Work, his collaboration with house music icons Honey Dijon & Mike Dunn, dominated UK radio and contributed to a BBC Radio Award nomination. And in partnership with producer Sam O.B. as Dave + Sam, they have worked extensively with Moodswing Music and UK-based Defected Records to package love, empowerment and socio-political commentary atop a globally-informed fusion of house, hip hop, and electronic dance.
