Detroit’s own Dames Brown embody the essence of soul music and epitomise the best of their hometown’s musical heritage, having been involved with songs across funk, soul, house, R&B, techno and more.
They’re comfortable pushing boundaries and dipping between genres - a true representation of Dames Brown’s diverse musicality and Detroit roots.
Recently, they featured on The Vision’s ‘Down’ disco-infused summer banger (Ben Westbeech and Kon’s project). The record has been played all over the world and has received amazing feedback, being named ‘undoubtedly one of the finest house records of the past 10 years’. Dames have been working with The Vision on their upcoming album, which was dropped in 2020.
