Biography
Keith Rafael Perez, better known as Kid Enigma (KE) is a Chicago-born Mexican-American artist with a never-ending desire for Peace, Love, and Tranquility—moral values that keep him balanced as an individual, an artist, and a human being.
Kid Enigma began to produce and write songs at the age of 18, and found a lot of early inspiration from artists such as Cajmere (Green Velvet), Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak and Mark Farina. Staying true to his House Music roots—the sound born in the city that he loves and that has made him who he is today, Kid Enigma has released on labels such as Defected, Sony UK, Ministry of Sound, Hot Creations, Kaluki, DirtyBird, MadTech & Strictly Rhythm.
As he ventures and looks to the future, Kid Enigma remains focused on using his music as a vehicle to bring people together, while giving them the energy needed to embrace their everyday struggles and stay positive.
